Formed at very high temperatures deep in the earth, it is an exceptionally durable stone consisting of hard minerals – such as quartz, feldspar and mica – which are fused together into an ultra-hard stone. Variations in the occurrence of natural elements, where the rock is formed, give rise to that great variation in colours and patterns.
Beautiful, adaptable and durable
Its surface is highly resistant to damage, granite also resists heat and staining from coffee, tea, alcohol or wine and is one of the most durable natural materials.
Granite is an exceptionally beautiful choice for kitchens, bathrooms, public spaces and commercial buildings. There is a huge range of colours and patterns available and, because it is a natural material, every work top is unique.
